        Just bought this car off another Man Utd fan so I fully trusted him, but now I am getting letters from this log book loan company!!!!!!
        Anyone know what I should do ?

          Tell them you paid through credit card company, you got nothing to lose becouse the car is stollen??..

          Tools owned: Hammer, Chisel, Crowbar, Punch, Chainsaw, Cutter and Brain!!!

            I thought that the FSA had withdrawn their license (Logbook Loans that is) ??? I thought I'd read it somewhere 2 weeks back. Have a surf on Google, because I may be wrong. May have been the OFT who revoked their licenses.

              Have a chat with them, but if you are not the owner I would go and park the bleeding thing on the most expensive car park and leave it there, Then they can recover the money off the owner.,.,!!

                Good luck. I had the same issue and a company called Logbook Loans 2 go had finance out on the car and sent me letters

                  Sorry Lads, but this post was meant as a joke. The whole of the thread needs to be read to understand it.

                  I am sure that GastonJ is right that these loans have been outlawed and so cannot be enforced.
