fiat stilo what a pain

Hi im new to this forum and desperate to locate where the airbag ecu on my newly purchased Fiat Stilo 1.2 model its a 2002 model I have a drawing showing it below the gear stick but having taken off the plastic console im not able to see it or any easy way of locating it, any positive information will be gratefully received and acted upon thanks

the ecu is behind hand break
