teeth extraction

im getting 2 of my front 4 teeth out on thursday. they have been crowned for 20 yrs but as the roots are now shaky they have to come out. ive spent a bloody fortune over the last 5 yrs or so getting veneers done. im very concious about my teeth and want them to look as best as possible however im absolutely terrified. ive to wear a plate for 6 months then they are bridging them. im not looking forward to wearing a plate at all. all get well cards will be appreciated

my heart goes out to you lainie but for a scot you have had a good innings you have done well keeping your teeth for this long

just back from a check up & had a descaling it was ~~~~in torture im sure thse dentists enjoy watchin u sqirm in those torture chairs..

oh i get the banana or liqorice spray so it numbs the gums and you hardly feel a thing (no jokes please lmfao)

Just back from my dentist (last time was 12 years ago) with a couple of fillings and an impression for a plate...i've got a couple of spaces at the sides on the top row which he said would look good filled in...so go back next week for a fitting....this is great when you get things for free YIPEEEE....BTW it was a young guy who said his name was Nash or something like that (tried hard to hold my laugh in ) , but never felt athing and he talked his way through everything he did...brill

i was at the dentist today myself jasbo. just a follow up and a scale and polish. back in 3 months to get them cleaned again.

I currently have a broken tooth that i need to get fixed yet I refuse to get my dentistry done in this country, over priced and poor quality (I had tried quite a few dentists over the years). I have this temporary fixing paste in my tooth at the moment and will get it fixed when i go away in July..

stuff i got yest was liquorice flavour and i hate liquorice but it had to be done. ive to buy interdental brushes as i cant floss.

At the dentist to day for 3 extractions and 2 fillings all at the back on the left I insisted on the numbing gel that they use on the kids and it REALLY works a treat had no pain during procedure just heard as he dropped the teeth in the metal tray..................... but now got some pain and on STRONG pain killer but happy to have those annoying bastards out of my mouth

oh i feel your pain. yes the gel works great. my gums bleed badly and i hate getting them cleaned as its so sore. however the gel makes a huge difference. just keep taking painkillers electromech and it will soon go away. as you say better out than in.
