ok some people may know about this but if you get loads of calls from people wanting to sell you stuff just sign up to .TPS. TPS Registration. it stops firms from just picking names from a phone book trying to sell you crap. and its free..

i used this service ages ago and it works thats for sure. It does not stop bogus calls completely,companys still use numbers generators which you cant get past but give it a go it will help the problem no ends.

if you sign up and still get annoying calls just let the caller know you have registered with the TPS and you want their details to report them.. It usually results in them hanging up and never calling back..

Also for junk postal mail try the MPS (Mail Preference Service)
