does any1 no of new firmware 4 cyclone hd media player/recorder so it will work with win7 so i can stearm from my pc. worked great with vista thanks

Hi, Im struggling with win7 too with cyclone mkv player! I have got 3 pc's on win7,they are all connected to a homegroup and are all sharing ok, cyclone shows the various pc's in the network/workgroup folder, when I attempt to go into any of the listed workgroup pc's a box appears for a Net User ID and also a password, I have tried all sorts but get "logon failed" , can you help? -
check on the manufacturers website if theres new firmware available it will be posted there first. if there is none available yet then they will probably be developing it, you could email them to ask what is hapening.Comment

Hi, thanx for the reply, I have since found and dowloaded the firmware updates successfully updated the MKV player and it didn't cure my issue, I have now found a fix (editing windows 7 Group Policies but that can only be possible if you have Enterprise,Pro or Ultimate as these versions have access to the editing tool to edit file gpedit.msc...... typical Microsoft !!! ), I can stream movies from all my PC's now BUT HD1080P .mkv movies freeze up and stop, HD720P .mkv moviess are a little better but eventually freeze, XVID .avi's etc are fine, I can't work out why I can stream HD1080P movies across my PC's but not the Cyclone MKV player? all my network is set up to 300mbs wireless ( dongles / router) incl the MKV Dongle? I have noticed that the bitrate varies on my PC's, sometimes it shows 300mbs but then can go down to 220mbs, shouldn't this be a constant 300mbs?
