One year since a joined the club. 24 march... I was not so active in the first time but how the time goes by i was more and more in DK, Now I can't start my day before i first checkout what is going on at DK. This is like my birthday

And there is something in that day. Sorry to bother but I must mention that today is 11 years since bombs start to falling "on my head" and my country... and 1 year since I have joined this community.

Thanks m8. It means a lot to me if you really think so. I feel sorry for everybody who lost their lives in that war, and when I say that I don't pick a side. I feel sorry for everyone. Cause of politics we had bombs falling at the end of 20th century in our Europe. As years goes, it is more and more disgusting. Europe, cradle of democracy, culture, genius.... and what is happening? It's just sad. I am just afraid that all was just the begin of the end. Hope I am wrong...

                Best Regards to everyone!

Hi mate.. yes i really think that.. i submitted a piece of work only 3 weeks ago.. here's a sample:

Coercion means persuading or forcing a State’s leadership to choose to change its behavior by threatening or conducting attacks that will hurt or cost it too much.
Remarkably hard to get right because predicting the effect of the use of force is impossible and the initiative lies with nation under attack, not the coercing nation.

If the targets behavior does not change after force, the only options are escalation of force, or admission of failure. In this case, NATO chose escalation. What started with 50 sorties a day, became 600-900 towards the end.

If the coercing nation actually destroys a lot, he may have nothing left to threaten. Devastation limits the misbehaving Govt abilities to govern effectively and provide for the people. Chaos and ruin may be the unwanted effect and civilians become hostile to attackers, not their leader. Thus the Govt is strengthened, not threatened or overthrown.

                  Moral Issues
Did NATO comply with Just War?
NATO is legitimate, but UN did not sanction bombings. Is it legitimate?
Using force as coercion is seen as an aggressive act, and seen as a violation of Just War principles.

                  Proportionality and Last Resort
                  Were NATO’s actions proportionate?
They didn’t push diplomacy, never tried to get UN sanctions imposed, lack of DIEM, simply ‘Sign Treaty’ or pay the cost!

                  Humanitarian Issues-

Hundreds of thousands of Kosovo Albanians flee their homes, saying they have been forced out by a vicious and systematic campaign of ethnic cleansing conducted by Serbian military and paramilitary forces in the province of Kosovo. Said to be worst humanitarian issue since WW2

After the war, KFOR failed to stop Kosovar violence against Serbs and others. Very few Serbs now live in Kosovo (7%) and none do so safely. Has NATO made Kosovo/Serbia a better or safer place?
Violence still continues up to the present day.

                  Environmental Issues-

Bombing destroyed all Serbia’s chemical complexes and oil refineries, toxic waste flooded into water systems and Danube river, airborne toxic materials caused widespread illness and unusually high cancer rates, and Romania and Bulgaria’s fisheries also suffered enormously.

Escalation and devastation of air attacks (discrimination?)
Harm done by NATO became greater than that originally done by Yugoslavia (Proportionality?)

Good point m8. I wrote "If you really mean so...", just because I was convinced that all the people are still blinded with the things TV had served them. I am so glad that there is still free thinkers, open minded people and you are living proof of that Most of people just swallow everything that TV gives them and TV nowadays it's most of the time full of rubbish, they are not independent. I am also glad that you are looking at the bigger picture. The bombing is more than just destroying military objects, buildings, houses... After the civilians which are the hardest victims... We still feel consequnces of bombs. Air, land, water is polluted and by some research the radioactivity of uranium that was used in bombs will touch the highest level in 2016. People get sick from cancer, mental disseas... Not only Serbia is in danger. I don't know how much I can go with this on the forum, but few days ago I watched the documentary from Italy television Rai about Kosovo. I will put a side things that he was talking about Kosovo, Serbs and Albanians cause every side has it on truth, most of the people don't have any tolerance and again, I don't pick a side, talking about everyone. The scary thing I saw in that movie is the camps of Al Kaida in Kosovo and Macedonia. They literally have a military camps, weapons etc. Is that a threat to a hole Europe or just Serbia?
