The noisy neighbour law is crazy....

Last night my next door neighbour had his tele blarring that much i could hear it ...... so being annoyed i banged the wall . then this morning he and his wife had altercation with me and threatenend too phone the police. there done that the last time tho and we were made to look like the guilty party as the police didnt give a ~~~~ about us. just about them the elderly couple that there are....

We used to have a nieghbour like that, the house next door was being rented out & they used to have lots of partys & they almost trashed the place + set it on fire once.

I do shift work had to be up @ 03:30 most mornings & was worried about my family, so I was not happy, but just happened to bump into the owner of the place & told him, he managed to kick them out, thank god..

i was forced to listen to all night music and mayhem from the students next door, at the time i asked them to keep noise down as i had kids who needed rest because they had to get up for school, they never ceased and i called the noise poloution team who came out and witnessed the racket at 3 am they went to confront the students but were not let into the proprty , the noise poloution people asked me to keep dates of noise and times which i did they collected the information off me ,which was nearly every night. they did nothing and i didnt hear from them again my health sufferd and one day i was lucky to bump into one of the offenders in the street i cracked and headbutted him . a few days later the police turned up and arrested me and took me to the police sttion he wanted to press charges against me for abh, when i told the police my story they showed pity although not officially if you know what i mean. the police dropped charges , fortunately afew weeks later after a few subtle threats the students moved out, but it was hell at the time.

mines isin't quite as bad but the elderly man is arrogant guy and he got his grandson too speak too me i do shift work too and im up at 3:30am when im dayshift there have had a problem with us since we moved in almost 4 years ago

Order your kind neighbour lots of taxis at night, takeaways, skips etc and sign him up to quotes for upvc windows, stair lifts etc he may change his attitute toward people then when he becomes a victim.

bit extreme biguns .sure they will soon know who is fu+++ng with them and things can quickly escalate. if i lived alone i wouldnt think twice but when you have a young family and wife who is alone at home during the day you have to think of them.

You may have hit the nail on the head by saying that they are an elderly couple. Maybe their hearing is fading and the need hearing aids instead of volume. On the other hand you could give them a taste of their own medicine. You must have hi-fi at home. See then do they complain.

i like that one big and yes i would do the same once in a while ppl do crap like that and the cops dont do $hit 2 help us i lived close 2 a guy that was like that and i payed a farmer 2 spay a load of crap all over his home that sorted that prob from there on 4 me

Rather than bottle things up and go through all the stress. Just have a word with him, tell each other the truth and try be friendly. Otherwise its time to move house and let the dust settle, then you can get your revenge, ( things like cut a metre out of his phone line, tv line e.t.c ) .

Or go away on holiday and while away have some local nutter ( payed ) to pay him a visit.

Happened to us many years ago, we ended up talking again , but will never forget what they done, ( best thing we did was move ) it was a great relief as they were a nasty family and used to target the wife when i was out.

thats nothing guys i live next door to a african family they are french speaking so my guess is there from Senegal

most mornings i am rudley awoken by the woman doing some ****ed up voodo ritual , chanting banging some kind of loud humming and preying , singing the lot at like 8 in the morning

banging on the wall fails to do anything shes one crazy woman ,it almost sounds like shes warning off the spirits or something ,how ever we now have the solution of turning the tv up ....not ideal but it works

but then what annoys me more is i have a newborn child and a 2 year old and when there crying sometimes she has the cheek to bang on my wall getting very annoyed with the whole thing
