i have accidently (ok stupidly rather than accidently) reset my dreambox 500c to factory setting. I was frustrated as some of the channels had dissapeared and I read that with Nag3 being rolled out, I may as wll use the dreambox as a door stopper so I thought what have I to loose. After the reset I am only getting channels 1 to 5 so the freeview channels I was getting before the reset dissapeared as did the look and feel. I guess I need to flash a new image onto the box? question: surely it already comes with a flash image so why do we need to overwrite it with another? and is DV1.2 image the latest for Dreambox500C. And is there is laymans/dummy's guide to understanding why we have to flash the box and how? which other files need to be copied after the flash? Apprecaite these are all common questions you get again and again but please point me in the right direction to find the answers. Thank you
