the brown trout season may be a bit slow to start with this year due to the cold winter.i expect things to pick up later this month as that is when i will be picking up the fly rod again.been watching a local tidal pool and there have been some nice seatrout running just on the flood tide .giving it a bash later this week.Comment

Hell of a fish, nothing fights like a seatrout on the fly. Looking forward to it warming up for the start of dry fly fishing.Comment

Lough Currane is a hard but beautiful place to fish. I have heard but never caught some of the monsters that reside there. Brown trout from Lough,s Sheelin, Erne, Corrib and Mask are what I do enjoy the most.
Waiting patiently on winds to ease and temperature to riseComment

lough currane
tried lough mask once, lakes can be very relaxing but i must admit i prefer to fish rivers, love the flowing water. did you ever try the cummeragh river. can be very productive with high water as its really a spate river. by the way its nice to see a few fellow fishermen on here.Lough Currane is a hard but beautiful place to fish.
