    would love to try mask and corrib as they are world famous trout lochs,we have a very good loch called loch eck it has good runs of salmon and sea trout.it also has a good head of wild brown trout and it also is one of the best places in scotland to catch char.plus its not expensive to fish.

      have never been to scotland, i do beleive ye have some beautiful lochs. some quality fishing by all accounts. would love to try and fish the spey some time, suppose the grass is aways greener on the other side springs to mind.

        the spay is one of those spate rivers,iv fished the leven which wasnt bad 2 salmon biggest 13 pound,plenty of sea trout .need to hit it at the right time.going to fish the ayr this year between mauchline and muirkirk.my local river is the gryffe which has good runs of salmon and seatrout late in the summer it a delightfull little river.

          I would fish Erne more than any of the big LOUGHS although my favourite is LOUGH Sheelin because you may not get the numbers on Sheelin , but when you hit one it can be an absolute stonker. Mask scares the crap out of me because of the rock,s just under the surface over most of the Lough. Corrib is beautiful to fish and the drift out of Oughterrard ;spelling: is second to none.
          A few beverages after each trip is also very welcome as is the welcome from 90% of the fishermen you meet, just like DK, a very friendly bunch.
