Laser eye surgery

Hi

Has anyone had laser eye surgery?

I had LASEK surgery on 15/3/2010 my vision is still not crisp and clear!
How long until it settles down?

The optometrists just keep saying you have to give it time, but they don't say how much!

I thought having this would get rid of wearing glasses, I now have to go and buy sunglasses LOL

I had mine done last year, it took me about 3 months for it to settle down but i had the wavefront thing done as well not just to fix the 'waves' but to repair some scratches on the surface of my eye I had left from an accident.. Some days are better than others for me, but for me they put this down the damage i have in the area, a fractured and cheek and skull near my right eye made a bit of a mess but i can see much better with it now.. I have to go and see them next week for my six monthly check up (actually abouy 7.5 months now), I will be complaining about the lack of clarity i have, not that they can do any more for me. They will have you back in if they feel the need to but not before three months have past. I used Optical Express.

Both my mother and sister have had theirs done and they said their vision settled down within a few days, but a couple of guys i work with said it took them about two to three months. My mum had hers done when she had a cataract removed at a hospital and my sister went to Vision express, i think..
