Is there anyway an auto delete of memberships not used for 6 months can be implemented?

Maybe a billing system. Contribute or get a bill for wasting our time
    Why ?

I am sure there are plenty of long term members who started out just making the odd post or two.

Yeah I don't think we'll be deleting any members because of that. I'm a member of plenty forums and would like to think I could still log on when I want to, even though I've not posted.

It's happened to me on more than one occation that I've came across a forum searching for something and decided to register, only to get the "your email address is already registered" !!!

I'll post up a few stats tonight if I get some time on the pc.

But even the odd one or two posts are contributing. But when you have people registering, posting a single post then downloading all the bits they wanted before buggering off...never to be seen again. Their unused registration is just wasting space. Why not cut off the dead weight?

I've had emails sent to me from sites I registered to, then stopped using, advising me that if I didn't log back in within a given time frame my account would by deleted.

That is the nature of the internet and forums. 99.99% leachers.

i thought there was a minimum post count or wait period for downloads ?
