I had a guy knock at the door the other evening (despite having a large sticker on the door saying 'No door-to-door salesmen). The first words out of his mouth were: ''I'm not selling anything''.

He said he just wanted to show me some pictures of double glazed windows and doors. So, I had a quick look at the pics and said ''Thanks. They're really nice'' and then shut the door on him.i
