    any postmen/women on here?

i have received new vermin card in post today, i'm planning on denying receiving it (just incase spare card becomes handy and to annoy vermin). on the envelope it states
"THIS MAIL HAS BEEN WALK SORTED" it also has ukmail stamped on it. my better half says she has heard this means i cannot deny receiving letter as this is like a recorded delivery. any truth in this?

Walk Sorted just means that the post office tried to do your postie a favour & make his/her job easier. It has nothing to do with guaranteed deliveries.

What's to say the postie didn't push it far enough through the door & a thieving scroat swiped it before you got home.

Unless something is signed for you can claim you never received it. Even if it is signed for you can still claim it didn't come to your house & you didn't sign.

a "WALK" is what a postman calls his delivery (round)

the company that printed the letters pre-sorted the mail before it got to the royal mail delivery office, it's just a way of saving money, cheaper postal costs.
