VM throttling MShare?

I think VM is restricting MShare downloads. I can't download anything from MS at more than 2.5m but I can download 4 files all at 2.5 at the same time.. I complained to MS and they said it wasn't them it was VM as lots of VM users had been complaining over the last week. So I called VM and they denied it.

It's weird as I can be downloading at 7.5m from RS or microsoft while MShares sits at a max of 2.5m..

So I joined Relakks it's a site in Sweden and it hides your activity from your ISP even gives you a different IP.

Connecting to MS and downloading a file using my normal connection gives me 2.5m max
Connecting via Ralakks and downloading the same file gives me 7.5m

To me this proves it's VM slowing down my connection to MS would I be correct in this conclusion?

I know this is an old post but, do you think that signing up to Relakks site will stop VM throttling my connection after hitting the 3 gig barrier in peak times?

I do a lot of downloads and get throttled unless i download after 11pm.

no mate i think we'll continue to get throttled no matter web site you sign up to.

what pi$$es me off is that they are rolling out 50meg now but they cant manage the 20meg other wise we wouldnt get throttled...would we....so people will pay about 50 quid a month for it, only to be down to 5meg most of the time.......total joke and they should get reported to trading standards
