    Hoarders

According to local radio programme on today, the male of the species is always a hoarder. Apparently our garages, sheds etc are full of clutter with items that we cannot bear to part with.

I must admit to keeping some old school exercise books (and love letters ) and old records which are not worth a bean to anyone but me.

Own up if you are a secret hoarder and what can't you bear to chuck out?

I'm a definite hoarder, can't bear to part with anything just in case it comes in handy later. I'm moving house in the next couple of weeks and I'm trying to be ruthless with stuff I haven't used for years, but am finding it really difficult.

if you skank something write the date on it, if after 1 year you haven't used it, chuck it unless
      a) something valuable/rare
      2) you haven't nicked the rest of it yet

Yes, I am a chronic hoarder, like others above I go through the motions of a clean out, then put all of it back again. The loft is almost full, a 10ft x 10ft hut the same, and have bought a new shed, just waiting to get it built up so I can fill it. Car parts, computer parts, waterproof clothing fishing gear, all stashed away, probably never to be used by me again, but there just in case.

I hoard diamonds, gold bullion, all British and foreign bank notes, fine art, antiques, rare cars, property, yaughts.... just started so my hoard is very small, so if you have any of the above items that you are throwing out I will gladly take them off your hands...chuck

They are now saying hoarding is a psychological disorder but where is the line between a record/cd collection and a house full of crap?
Would this be true for all the stuff we save on our pc's?
