Hi David. You seem very angry and of course you should be. I am not well up on the politics of your country but it has been mentioned several times in the press over here as to why some don`t understand why we are not out marching,protesting and/or rioting like,say, in Greece. The answer is that while we have a shower of incompetents running- nay ruining- the country for the past 13 years, there is an equally incompetent shower of pocket-lining bast*rds waiting in opposition to take their place. Maybe that is/was the case in your country.

Brown borrowed and spent in the middle of a huge boom. He saved nothing in the good times, so Labour could not 'spend thier way out' of it.
The labour party look more like a bunch of toffs than the Tories nowadays.

The man is clearly deluded and totally out of touch with reality, thats why he spent so much. He regulated absolutley everything to death, but refused to regulate his golden bankers because if he touched them his whole house of cards would collapse.
