I have a president Lincoln CB radio. Had it for a few years now. Dont use it much as the CB's are not very popular anymore.

Although i do hear a fewfunny things from the mobile people scouting around within a good 30 mile radius.

My uncle however is a big Radio fan and has radios that reach as far as mexico on various bandwidths. I will find out what radio it is.

I used to have scanners but since the police went digital i feel no need to use these radios anymore. As well as mobile bands they are no longer accesable via these scanners. (unfortunately).

If you want to enjoy the hobby then look at the R.S.G.B website to locate a local radio club and also look up radio rallies , this should find what's on in your area I got the bug in 1981, took the RAE exam and been involved ever since! Pete G6DRN
