Hi stucky. The first song (and the best song) I listened to was Winter Winds and was amazed at the professional sound to it. Then I saw Island Records in the credit and realised that Mumford and Sons may be starting out but at least doing so with a reputable label behind them. Second favorite is Hold On To What You Believe and again another good song is Roll Away Your Stone. There is a gap left by former Island bands such as Steeleye Span and Fotheringay and Mumford ans Sons could be ideally placed to do that as the others mentioned are rarely seen or heard of now. Iv`e listened to Winter Winds 7 times and Iv`e bookmarked the bands web site. I wish the band every success in the upcoming Big Mud Bath (Glastonbury) and also when they come over here for Oxegen and the Electric Picnic. The future is bright- the future is Mumford and Sons. Sorry stucky, the page opens on Munford and Sons.

Sounds a little like velvet revolver, with a hint of mad season and a little early deftones thrown in for good measure.

Hi stuckylad, I spent too much time last night listening to the wrong artists to go back again. I managed to track down two of the three songs tonight Back to the Bottom and Re-Run and both are good rockin` songs and by slowing the tempo towards the end of Re-Run the band manages to take a lot of the agro thats in both songs out of this one. Your lad`s a fiery drummer with his hands on the pulse for changing beats when needed. Best of luck to them. Ya, they`re good.

well to be brutally honest they sound ok but im not to fussed on the singer i think he's weak and the guitar riffs have been done to death

my tip would be to try and get there own sound because they sound like a hundred other bands

but thats not to say they arnt any good they just need to find something that makes em a bit different and special IMO and get some killer hooks

Just managed to get some time to listen to the songs and yes, they have something. Always good to hear new bands trying to come through.

Negatives - The style is old now so a bit of refining in the guitar, maybe vocals too (singer to beef up a bit) will add a lot more to individuality. There does seem to be too many different influences in the music, not sure if that is a bad thing or not.

Positives - They guys are putting it out. I particulary like the tempo change in Re-run. The off key vocals in Freefall work well (something more experienced bands still can't get right).

All in a good band and would love to hear them live. No reason why they wouldn't do well, especially out on the festival circuit.

                        Just my opinion
