I have very little faith in this. People can't hear anything because the frequency emmitted is higher than what the speakers on your system can produce.

The same will go with mobile phones. If the speaker can't output 18kHz or above then this won't work. Most list upto 20kHz, but unless you test this with something like Audacity...how will you know?

I've just downloaded the mosquito wav from a free site. I'll transfer it to my phone & test it on our customers.

theres an app for the iphone called annoy a teen which emits a loud screeching noise that only young folk can hear. it works cos i got it and tried it on my two teen sons and it was driving them mental.

Tested on a couple of smack-rats that came in. The didn't hear anything. But it could be the PC speakers at fault.

Just tried it on my home PC & the dog didn't move. Converted to MP3 & sent it to my phone, I can hear a high pitched tone. But I shouldn't be able to hear anything due to my age.

Leave your phone on your desk, and on a pre-arranged time, get somebody to call it, see if your boss shouts you through, or even walk into the next rooma dn call your phone, see if your boss reacts

Oh just for reference was reading, that if you twist a persons nipples (either sex) and they don't react they are either brain dead or paralised.

My teen just got home from school, he says he can hear just a slight buzzing sound, like an insect. So it does work.

Yep just tested on lad. Asked him to say when it stopped and he did.
