I went into Costco and had a demo of a Samsung 3D TV and I have to say that it was better quality than the cinema. That might however be due to the fct that the Samsung 3D glasses were ?80 each rather than the cheapo cinema ones.

You actually had to turn the glasses on to get them to work!

My friend just bought the Samsung 50' 3d tv, superb quality, but to be honest , the glasses would get annoying after a while, ok to watch an odd film but for everyday use , not my cup of tea for the money!
            Whatever!!

How did you find the football in 3d crwni i watched a game last season in 3d and was not very excited by it. Preferred the normal view as you didnt get any close up replays and they only seemed to have 2 viewpoints of the action. I think 3d is great seen a few films in 3d but i dont think it is perfect for everything.

Managed to catch some of the cricket in 3D... Wierd as ~~~~, it was like the old paralax games like Shadow of the Beast.

But I would like to see the F1 in 3D, now that would be trippy.

                    sorry for the late reply.
it is kind of odd a 1st a bit like when hd 1st came out
after a few mins it stop feeling weird.
it kind of has the look of a pop up book you had when you were a kid.

for me i thought it gave a much better insight into player positions etc. not as real as being there but 2/3 if you know what i mean

the games i have seen of late have plenty of cameras

if you have only seen the red/blue glasses 3d this is world apart
