Clay pigeon shooting ? anyone shoot??

    I have been in shooting sport for like 10 years, did it professionally too for sometime, but mostly I took clay shooting as a hobby. Its a great hobby to have, and becomes more and more fun as you start learning it. I recommend t always start out the sport shooting by going to some professional institute though.

      By 'eck, this is an old thread. Dug up by a newbie ta boot.

      Well done on using the search function, wish there were more like you

      I used to shoot small bore rifles & pistols in my younger days, before they banned pretty much everything.
      Now I just have a couple of air rifles, one of which needs repairing. Been thinking of applying for a license so I can up the power a bit, give the rats & bunnies something to think about.

        LOL i was going to get my riffle out of the loft at weekend.. but.. the mrs wouldnt let me infront of my son .. might go get it out and shoot some pigeons on the railway.

          These days police helicopter,ten meat wagons and the swat squad will soon join you down the railway. As you take a few pot shots with your air gun ! The boat mounted gun is called a punt gun. Was used on the fens for geese. Would down 50 odd per shot! They must be well illegal these days.
