    Hogmanay

    Just booked the hotel in Edinburgh for new year,
    Was there a few years back staying at a girl friends boyfriends house had a blast spent a load in the wally dug.



    Anyone else going away for new year??

        Non sono stata a Glasgow (i pi? dicono non sia bella, grigia e molto industriale, ma c'? una sparuta minoranza di persone che la preferisce ad Edimburgo) ma, se il tempo fosse bello, vi consiglio di andare a St. Andrews; ? raggiungibile con un treno ed un bus e, a parte la cittadina che ? molto graziosa e le testimonianze storiche dell'attivit? evangelizzatrice del santo in questione, merita per la bellissima ed ampia spiaggia e gli ampi campi da golf (? nato proprio l? questo sport). C'? anche un museo marino degno di nota.

              Its Italian, my grasp is tenuous at best but from the gyst of it he suggests going to St Andrews, something about glasgow being industrialised and a minority of people preferring it to Edinburgh.

              Apparently St. Andrews has a good marine museum and plenty of stuff to see about the actual saint...

              All those hours screaming at Rosetta Stone are actualy paying off! Now if only Italians could stick to She and He instead of prefixing gender with everything the language would be infinately easier.
              Apparently an apple (una mela) is female because an apple tree (un melo) is male. The entire system doesnt seem to have any real grammatical basis other than to screw up the entire language, colors are pronounced different depending on the sex, grouping or age of objects... downright bizarre.
