I totally agree with you barrowmanandrew. A few weeks back I was reduced to watching friendlies on Eurosport and they were crap as was the world cup. I just love the premier league there is always something happening and the matches are great to watch most of the time.

Why not check out the foreign satellite scene? I only paid €160 for a card and now get more premiership matches (and sometimes in HD) than sky and espn together. I changed the foreign sat scene 2 years ago and would not look back.

You do not have to be that technically gifted. I got a satellite installer to install the dish. I bought a receiver and a card put the card into the receiver and you then have football for a year as simple as that.

are you saying its just a matter of getting engineer to point dish at correct satellite, buy a card and bobs your uncle?
what box would i need? how much for the card? what channels do you get?

It's straightforward enough barrowmanandrew if you want to get someone to set it up for you.
A motorised dish is the best way to go, but if you don't want to go down that road, you could get a fixed dish fitted with multi LNBs (allowing you to receive 2 or more satellites).
This way you could receive Free to Air channels HERE and also you would be able to buy a card for the likes of 13e or 19e for football.
Technomate is a good enough box to go for, you could try the TM 500 or 600 (Linux) or even the older TM 5400.
Chances are when you get into it you'll start adding more boxes, .
It can be hard to understand at first, but it's well worth it.
