      THE TRUTH
      The Hillsborough Independent Panel. 12/09/12

Today's report is black and white. The Liverpool fans were not the cause of the disaster.
The panel has quite simply found 'no evidence' in support of allegations of 'exceptional levels of drunkenness, ticketlessness or violence among Liverpool fans' and 'no evidence that fans had conspired to arrive late at the stadium' and 'no evidence that they stole from the dead and dying'.

now without sounding to harsh its awful

tip first rule of proper mixing which you havent grasped is to line the beats up on one record to the beats of the other mixing songs when the beat finishes or before it starts is not DJ'ing (well not club anyway ok for karaoke disco)

dont know what your using but you got to use vinyl and get some technics 1210's if you want to get in to it

once you have mastered matching the beats by listening in headphones to one whilst the other is playing you need to release the record on the headphones at the correct point you normally get 8 beats to every component of the song

line up the first beat on the headphones (after pitch is matched) hold it and listen to the tune thats playing let in run through to a point count the beats till 8 release the record thats in waiting (you may need a nudge with a finger or two)

it is the hardest part of mixing but when it comes you have it for life it just need a lot of practice to fine tune it

when mixing practice different tunes and start at different parts of the songs a lot is trial and error but some tunes are just meant to sit together seamlessly

also as a practice try getting two identical records and just start them together at different points it is good to learn beginners and can sound amazing flicking the crossfade from one to another as if its one record bashed up to the max

sorry if i offended but you might as well start properly i had decks for years and was pretty decent a couple of me m8s were ok too but some people just couldnt grasp it so took the easy fade in fade out option before the beats kicked in cos there lazy

take the time to do it properly you will not be disapointed

just quick edit there are devices and software that do it all for you nowadays and show you the bpm for each record ect you just have to press start im not fussed because its cheating and its not real mixing in my book but these things might help you get a grasp of it as a beginner
