    Poker Sites

Are they just bollocks, or is it just me? I mean I play poker with friend regulalry, and some of this shit that these sites pull is just embarrassing. Is it a fix, or am I just bitter?

In the relativly short time that poker sites have been around there has been only 2 sites that foul play was proven. The 2 sites were pretty much found out by the "community"....they were absolute poker and ultimate bet poker....both were inside jobs and as stated were caught out and vilified. Interestingly enough both these operations were/are linked. They now operate under a new name called Cerius.
As to the question is it rigged.....The true answer is NO. The reason you see crazy stuff happen online is its just the click of a button.....to some it doesn't even seem like real money, its so easily accessible that your below iq brigade play there without effort. Also add to the fact that online you can easily see 100+ hands per hour...if you multi table you will see more, compare that to what say 20-30 hands per hour live then you begin to see why you are witnessing all these crazy hands.
Also live players (although they are all pretty bad on average) will not push chips in the middle with junk because of the fact that they are face to face as opposed to behind a keyboard laughing
Online poker is a fine way to make some extra cash as long as you can mentally attune yourself to the game your playing and can play within a structured bankroll and have a little bit of skill/knowledge..

People who gamble a fair bit will always tell you when they've won a nice amount, but you won't hear a peep when they lose, which is more often than not. There are some 'professional' gamblers who may have a modicum of relative success, but the ordinary joe is the person paying the gambling establishments wages, and giving them a tidy profit too

Sometimes you have to go all in, especially if you are short stacked, and this is when I see a number of "Bad beats".
4 running cards to the other player. I know it happens, believe me, it just seems to happen a lot on poker sites

its not about winning or loseing , read the question .
if im behind and get runer runner to hit a royal flush when the outher player has quads on the flop then its still fixed! this bs happens all the time on 888 imo, or i hit quad kings on the flop to get rivered by quad aces e,c,t bth I dont give a **** . think what you want but let me think what i want to think
bad beats on 888 happen 80% of the the time ime!
not just to me but to every one , end.

note sure why you guys think im a sore loozer, who said I lose?

That is because you play a lot more hands per online than live.... as mentioned earlier......

I play live and online, and the percentage of bad beats is consistent.... Do a calculation on it and work out the %ages live v online, I bet there is around a 5 to 10% diff which you could put down to the standard deviation.
