    sharing virgin internet

    wonderd if i can split the connection between 2 houses as the junction box is right outside

    2 of everything TV + Network etc

    Shouldn't this be in cable..?

    Anyways, if you're talking about splitting the feed that comes to your home with a neighbouring property, you should consider their will be an insertion loss of around 3dB from the splitter and you WILL need to use 2 line isolators (on each output of the splitter) to prevent damage from the VM network (in case they have a technical issue) and of course to isolate the mains between each house.

    Once you have the isolated feeds, you can additionally split them between boxes and modems, but again you need to consider the insertion loss..

    If you're on a good strong feed, it should work fine..
    (if not, you may need to pay a dodgy installer to up your signal if they can)

      But what are you trying to gain from this?

      Will you be using a contract box & modem or something a little left of center?

      Or are you just looking to hack the neighbours subs?
