It has been going on for months now with some affected and others not. There are also network changes to take into account as some UBR shuffling is still ongoing.

Try access it via HTTPS (e.g. https://www.rapidshare.com) as opposed to standard HTTP, and see if that works m8.

If you are a premium RS member try this script applet RS2IP - Convert RapidShare URL to IP Address see the how it works section and follow it accordingly. It basically converts RS URLs to a more user "friendly" link.

Sometimes it will come back within 24 hours with VM quoting it as a routing problem

Just been that that 'other' site where 'somebody' posted a 'date fix' for a 'data'
programme, downloaded as free user *THINK* yes have expired my subscription
only problem was Nodd32 spat it out

ok l have pinged rapidshare and its working l just cant log in on any pc in the house but can at work ?

any ideas why its blocking rapidshare after all these years ?



edit: just tried on the wife laptop and it works fine on there , looks like a my pc is havin the problem ? any ideas why

its working but as soon as l start downloading it stops at 99% then l lose the webpage again

'what' are you downloading'?' - nothing wrong - ie virus checker kicking in.

if i upload anything on rapidshare and don't log out of my account properly.
then sometimes it doesnt let me download anything until i go back in and log out......

just a program for work but have tried other and its all the same .. l get webpage back but as soon as l download something it stops and then the webpage goes again ?
