moneybookers is much better. no charge backs , sender pays commission and its peanuts. peanuts to withdraw to bank too. also mastercard available that can be used at cashpoint to withdraw

My credit card was misused with moneybookers. all the online payment system is the same. it has its pros and cons.

no juridiction of any kind so they can do anything freely.

From personal experiance Ive used Paypal alot, and touch wood upto now no problems as such, the only problem i had someone hacked my ebay account and went spend crazy while I was away, a grands worht of vouchers and such, I disputed it with Paypal, I had recovered funds within 3 days so upto now im happy with them,

Not the same as having the account frozen I know... sorry as you were

Type in food horror stories, or hospital, or police etc. Yes from time to time there are bound to be things that go wrong, and every one will make a big old hoo har about it, but when things go right, where's the excitement in that?

they don't take money for no reason.

I agree whole heartedly hoggy, with post 20. And I ain't been caught out yet with paYPAL, but check out paypalsucks.com and look at the horror stories.
And they can take money from your account with no reason, you waive that right when you agree and sign up, another of them long winded EULA's that no one reads.
Touch wood, I ain't been done yet, but it can happen to anyone.

Another gripe is the charges for selling.. bloody rip off.. not only has ebay gone from 4% to 10%. also the paypal chargers have shot up.. good job I mainly buy and not sell.

I've paypal'd , on ebay and for also personal payments to others , again , with no problem , i started using it 6yrs ago , as it was advertised as a convenient , fast and secure payment method , apart from small "niggles" ,i've had no probs, what's the best way to go ???

the biggest joke is that paypal is e-bay and e-bay is paypal
they are the same thing same company different name,,,e-bay have it conpletely sown up and anybody purchasing or selling is bombarded with ads about how safe and easy it is to use paypal and how you are covered etc etc,,which is true to a certain extent but be aware they can freeze your account withdraw from your account and do whatever the hell they like with your account without your permission

They also do not always look upon complaints in a fair and open manner. I have been on both sides.seller and buyer disputes and there is no logic in the decision making process.As long as they get their slice of the cake thats all that matters to them.
