Tell you what it is guys, you got all these daft kids sellin it nowadays trying to rip everyone off, around our end everyone seems to smoke to blues / blueberry whatever you wanna call it, it is quite good but the bags are sh!!te, proper takes the p!ss, and like some of the comments earlier its to much of a pain gtetting hold of it, i feel sorry for the guys who cant seem to get off it ,

?10 a gram is a fair price to pay if the weed is good, round here there are people selling normal, standard, average weed at normal prices and then there are those selling the good stuff like cheese. ive been smoking the higher quality stuff for a while now and after trying normal stuff again a few weeks ago it just doesnt do anything.

as with anything in life - you pay for quality

as people are trying good weed and not wanting shit any more then the demand for shit will go down and no one will want to grow it

once all the shit is gone and there are more people growing good stuff the price will drop

?10 a gram for anything grown under lights in UK is a rip off. The biggest rip off if cheese as its not that potent plusa the cheese thats getting knocked out is not the proper UK cheese strain as this is only available via clones NOT seeds. The cheese that is getting knocked out here is the cheese crossed with another strain to produce seeds like bb cheese etc.
Might smell nice but thats about it, low yeild and low thc content.
If people did not pay a tenner for a g (or less) of wet weed , just because its called cheese, then people would not charge it.
I for one wont pay it.

Demand is up, so prices rise too. I know guys used to have ounces last weeks, now they can't keep stock for more than a day, it's a real pain in the ass. With more people out of work, and general awareness of the real harmlessness of weed, people are buying it more.

That said, quality is DEFINITELY declining, as it's gone from passionate hippies and tokers growing and selling to scumbags out for a quick buck, spraying it with God knows what.

Don't forget, rub the weed with your fingers and then onto your teeth, then grind your teeth together for a second. If it's gritty, do NOT buy it, unless you want 2 grams of weed and 2 grams of sugar/salt/fiberglass/whatever the ****

You obviously dont know what your on about mate. 99% of weed sold in the UK is grown in the UK. If you know what your doing, have a good strain then it can be really good stuff.

The problem lies with all the vietnamese who have moved in and setup massive crops, and spray the plants to increase the yield. AFAIK cheese is an english strain originating from Birmingham, if people think its good, then all the dealers say they have cheese. Its a marketing ploy by the suppliers, and the consumers believe it, and grab it. Smell also means nothing, as this can easily be faked, and the smell is all about how it is dried.

?150 an Oz is cheap too. People down here are charging upwards of ?200 an Oz, its ?60 a Q!!!

I know growers, and used to call the crop stupid names like white star, or god weed, or silver skunk, or anything I could make up. Funnily enough within 2 weeks everyone had that variety and was ranting about it being the best ever. Funny I thought, as I made up that name about 2 weeks ago, and it dont even exist as a strain.

If you want top quality weed, go to Amsterdam. Smoke some G13xHaze, it has the highest THC content around, and will knock you sideways.

Growers want quantity and not quality. Consumers want quality and quantity so its a difficult balance to keep. Also the majority of people grow from seeds which is pointless, better to get a good plant, and clone it. You are guaranteed to get the same quality and roughly same quantity everytime then.
