You obviously dont know what your on about mate. 99% of weed sold in the UK is grown in the UK. If you know what your doing, have a good strain then it can be really good stuff.

The problem lies with all the vietnamese who have moved in and setup massive crops, and spray the plants to increase the yield. AFAIK cheese is an english strain originating from Birmingham, if people think its good, then all the dealers say they have cheese. Its a marketing ploy by the suppliers, and the consumers believe it, and grab it. Smell also means nothing, as this can easily be faked, and the smell is all about how it is dried.

?150 an Oz is cheap too. People down here are charging upwards of ?200 an Oz, its ?60 a Q!!!

I know growers, and used to call the crop stupid names like white star, or god weed, or silver skunk, or anything I could make up. Funnily enough within 2 weeks everyone had that variety and was ranting about it being the best ever. Funny I thought, as I made up that name about 2 weeks ago, and it dont even exist as a strain.

If you want top quality weed, go to Amsterdam. Smoke some G13xHaze, it has the highest THC content around, and will knock you sideways.

Growers want quantity and not quality. Consumers want quality and quantity so its a difficult balance to keep. Also the majority of people grow from seeds which is pointless, better to get a good plant, and clone it. You are guaranteed to get the same quality and roughly same quantity everytime then.

So i dont know what I'm talking about just because I think ?10 a gram is a rip off? LOL Just how do you work that out ?10 a gram is not a skank?
I've already mentioned the vietnamese growers and spraying and UK cheese but it seems you dont know about REAL uk cheese as it does not come from Brum. More Luton way and comes from the Exodus Collective who gave away clones from the early 90's to keep the strain alive. I first smoked it at one of there raves in the early 90's and my mate still has a mother hes had for years. The exodus clone is a bit of a freak and it cannot be made to seed thus the clone only.
All the CHEESE going around now is Exodus cheese thats been crossed with another strain to produce seeds for a strain that SMELLS similar to the Exodus
Also why do you say to go to the Dam for a decent smoke? Have they got special gear over their that the UK doesnt have? Just shows how much you actually know mate. The reason people go to the dam is because they can buy the gear over the counter not because they have special weed.If you the right peope in Uk you can get just as good if not better than the Dam.
It costs pennies to produce a gram of weed so if you are happy to pay a tenner then in my opinion you are a mug.
End of day if people didn't pay it then the dealers couldn't charge it.
Anything over ?4k a kilo is just a rip off

its not really a load of tosh at all,,,firstly you have two types of shite in uk weed,,,,1st shite is fibreglass ,,sugar etc etc used to weight it up and obviously more weight more money,,,,2nd shite is all the chemicals used in the growing juice thats used in most indoor growrooms,,,you would be very lucky to get yourself a regular supply of clean organic weed in the uk unless you are at it yourself or your best mate supplies you
so before you start ranting about a load of tosh etc etc its always good to ask someone first to maybe elaborate on their initial statement,,,you will obviously get the same juice being used in the dam but you also get a lot of nice organic outdoor strains available,,,
i do know a lot of rip off merchants,needless to say i dont have any dealings with them,,i also know a lot of good sellers but they are still selling chemically enhanced weed
