Re Discraceful Muslims

Why was this thread closed? I agree that things like this happen and are offensive but can we not say that a lot of Muslims find it offensive too? After all many Muslims lost their lives in WW2 (and other conflicts) in the Allied struggle.

I have the greatest respect for the guys out there on active service, more areas than most folk think, but to close a thread because it presents a negative view on a secular matter without allowing a reproach from any of our Muslim members not in the manner of an open forum.

I know many Muslims who abhor the actions mentioned and have made complaints to their Imam about these acts.

I would like to say that most of the Muslims I know are law abiding citizens of the UK and agree with the military acts abroad so why close the thread before allowing the debate.

I am sorry if my post offends though I do agree with the closed post I also know a lot of Muslims who feel as offended we do on this matter.

The thread was closed to stop any offensive remarks from being made as we do not do that kind of thing here, and i think this thread will go the same way as a precautionary measure.

Being from an arrab Muslim family my father and his close friends all agree if this happened in a real Islamic country they would have being punished! For their actions and disrespect, but one thing I know for certain is these idiots are going to hell along with all Muslim extremists as there that stupid that they dont realise is this is not the teaching of the profet and is forbidden! there ideas are pathetic! Someone watch the movie four lions it's a comedy but truly not far from the truth! But this is what's happening to British Pakistani and afghan muslims only 1% read, write or speak arrabic therefore there teaching are corrupted! And what you find is anyone that appears to know what they are talking about they belive!

I think you will find that the thread was closed because one member referred to and I quote "Paki's". This is an offensive, racist remark guys and looking at the forum rules such remarks should not be made.

It aint about being over pc, it's about realising it's 2010. Why the need to refer to Asians as 'Paki's!!??

The worrying thing for me is that the post with this racist remark recieved many thanks from other members..

Well done Mods' for closing the thread. If members think it's ok to make offensive racist remarks it would go on and on. The line has to be drawn somewhere.
