Now here this. They caught your vehicle...not you. In the letter they sent you which you have to sign & return you are admitting to being the driver. It is the driver thay gets fined.
If you don't admit it they have no choice but to take you to court. The police & courts are so busy they probably won't bother. Its a risk & chance you take.
Otherwise you could blame a mate who was visiting you from Australia who borrowed your car but now has gone back to Aussie.

write n ask for proof as u dont know who was driving, the longer you put them off the better as they just want u to admit straight up..

I agree that when you return the police form , you are incriminating yourself
, which i found is a legal rights issue .
                O K , don't speed , you won't get done , but i had a 25yr , accident and conviction free driving history , got 2 fines in 8 weeks , totalling ?310 and
9 points , my crime was YES ! speeding , but on a stretch of motorway with not another car in sight at 5.00am , picked up by ANPR gantry cameras .
                BIG BROTHER is watching !

Ask to see the photo if its from the front and you can tell its you, your knackered. from the back, you can try and tell all sorts of "non truths" to get off. Loads of urban myths but as someone has already mentioned peepiboo have a look there.
