Winter tyres and the insurance rip off

The fitting of winter tyres has to be declared on your insurance as a modification and will increase your premiums.. So if you want to be safe and take extra care of your family while driving thesedays you can but so long as you tell you insurance company you have fitted them and paid them the extra money/premuim.. tossers

    See this link from AutoExpress..:

yep, insurance companies have you by the balls, I keep getting text messages from mine trying to discourage me from driving in the snow,
I didn't know until recently that tow-bars are also classed as a modification.

what we all should do is ring our insurance company's on a daily base telling that for example"i have put a new air freshener in my car"Then the next day" i have added a nodding dog"ect ect till it drives them mad and stop trying to ripp us off at every opportunity
If you tremble with indignation at every injustice then you are a comrade of mine
