    How long is a curry good for?

    As the question says ,how long is a curry dish good for? If left in fridge after purchase ? Thnx

          , sorry. i have chicken curry on the brain. i used to work delivering chicken to chinese restaurants, it was scary seeing chicken that had thawed/froze a couple of times in the truck being dumped on dirt floors. makes me cringe since(i still eat it though )

                  Sincerely though, many curries contain cream or butter (ghee) as a stock, so I would think 24 hours would be the maximum really. I certainly wouldn't be eating any after maybe 16 hours (i.e., lunch next day). Wouldn't worry about chicken though, there won't be salmonella if it's been cooked correctly.

                        its one thing chancing meat you've cooked yourself with your well washed hands when you know the hygiene situation in your kitchen, but restaurants are busy places and business is business............

                              Some good answers guys ,it was actually 3days old, the day after is better.the thing is though if it was warmed in oven .....really hot would/could it still be bad
