will have to see when they get them in court and they will cos of the amount of cctv, but are the ones doing this actually students, if they are they need lining up against the wall and shooting. i reckon the ones that are mindless morons here are prob just there to cause trouble and not bothered about the increase in student fees. btw i agree with the increase.

It's not like they have to pay it up front. They pay years after when they're earning over ?20,000..... WTF are they complaining about, they may never have to pay a penny.

As far as the attack on Prince Charles' car goes, I don't understand what he has protection for if they are that useless.

The future monarch of this country falls under attack by 'unknown' people & his armed escort does nothing. Now I don't like the man...but his escort should of either started shooting & ran the coonts over.

I don't think it was students who caused, or at least started, the trouble.

I actually agree with the students actions.
At least they are willing to stand up for what they feel about, unlike the majority of people who'll moan, gripe, give out but eventually do nothing.
Your government is supposedly responsible to the will of the populace.
If it wasn't for people protesting women would never have gotten the vote, the solidarity movement would never have led to the collapse of the berlin wall.
Seems, thanks to the actions of Thatcher re: the miners, most people are seeing such actions as unreasonable and futile.
The exact same thing said about women voting and the collapse of the berlin wall.

              nice

good to see some one standing up uk is dying and i think alot more is comeing. we dont care anymore we sit in our little boxes and shout out at the tv, its about time ENGLAND started to show some backbone. im not a studant im a builder 47 years of age. if this country is in trillians of pounds in debt how can we still send money abroad? if we stopped sending money maybe we could pay of our massive loan. and look after the people who care about the uk and not the income they earn and use in there own countries. uk should be earn in the uk spend in the uk. and maybe we could be a great nation again.

It's now officially 'unsustainable' to support disabled people | Sharon Brennan | Comment is free | guardian.co.uk

Considering the above link is how the government in the UK sees things, 'unsustainable' eh? And yet, bailing out MEGA BANKs and offering hand outs to weapons manufacturers is acceptably sustainable??

im not against them standing up for their feelings, im not against them saying how they feel, im not against them showing some backbone for their beliefs, im not against them marching and chanting their angry words, but im against them waking up and saying i feel like throwing a fire extinguisher from the roof of a building on to a policemans head, i feel like smashing up a car or police van and setting it on fire, i feel like defacing a statue of some famous person, i feel like spraying a name on a wall at the house of parliament, i feel like smashing window in an office because i walked past it. wtf! my kids didnt go to this march but if they had and i saw them doing the things i saw on tv that i have over the last few weeks i would have turned them in myself.

I will add my opinion as when we are watching the student march in TV unfolding in our cosy living room we can not see exactly why the students ended up taking the matter in there own hands, from students view they were corner in like a cattle on the first day of march and they were not allowed to go for basic amenities and this time they were prepaid for the worst they have also warned the police the big one still to come.
This country the United Kingdom is the only country in the world we pay more tax then any country in the world, for example if you are living in India you have to pay your student fee in primary, college, and in university but because we pay tax all the university fees should be in my opinion nil, because the working class have to pay tax for our students and when students graduate and find work the have to pay back the money they own to the government in my opinion I can not make head or tail out of the system, may be some body will try to give us a light on this.

Well said, agree with all of that, as for the shoite about shooting people for throwing paint at Charlie and the Horse, baws, point the finger at the muppets who were allegedly guarding Charlie and directed his car into a protest that had escalated into violence due to police heavy handedness !

Does that odd few ruining it for others include the police officers who beat a 20 yr man about the head causing him to have operations on his brain ? Or the officers who dragged a disabled person from a wheelchair ? or those who charged a group of teenagers with horses or those who kettled innocent people for upwards of 6 hours ?

Let me state my point on the violence, it was wrong on all counts regardless of where it emanated from, be it students, anarchists or state, maybe we should all roll over and bare our bellies to government regardless of what punitive policies they introduce !
