Well I got an email from the cusoms today and they said they are going to charge me ?16.52. Which I suppose is still not that bad I guess. What is the story on Irish Customs do they tax every single item that you buy from outside UK over the value of ?22 or was I just unlucky this time?
the letter i got states if bought from outside the EU you will get caught for customs
i think its hit and miss though. last time i got away with it, time before stuff was stopped.
couple of years ago i got something from USA and the courier company sent me a bill for tax they had paid on my behalf i replied saying show me receipt for tax. heard no more. ~~~~in chancers
