    x10 android

my 17 year old is wanting an x10 android
where we live it has to be either vodafone or o2
any idea what the best deals are on it
ideally dont want to spend more than 15 or 20 quid per month on him as my own genio slide is only 15 per month with 30 mins unlimited text and unlimited internet on vodafone

Get the HTC Wildfire instead. Smaller and faster than the x10 and runs on android. Plus, you could easily get it for under ?20 a month. The cheapest i've seen a x10 is ?30

I'm with orange, got an x10 for ?25 monthly, unlimited texts and data, god knows how many minutes as I don't really make calls its fairly unimportant to me.

They are pretty power hungry though, if I'm abusing it it lasts maybe 5hrs, if I tone it down I get a days worth of juice from it.

I don't see you getting a decent deal for under ?20 though, any less and I can guarantee you'll need to fork over a phone deposit.

unlimited texts, 100mins and 500mb on o2 (18month tied contract) is 30 shekels per month

The same on Vodafone is 35quid (bumps the mins up to 600 though)

24month tied and you can whack off a fiver a month...

For 12months sim only your looking at about ?20 a month for comparative deals but then you need to fork over for the full cost of the phone. Less than ?250 (with atleast 8gb Micro SDHC card) and your on to a bargain.

Orange seemed to be the best deal I could find a few months back, but if you've got no coverage then its no use :/

As mentioned, I would be looking at another phone. The wildfire is a good option, as is the Galaxy Apollo.

If you can't find what you need let me know. We have some andriod phones in at the moment. But I'll have to check on the SIM locks for each model.

The x10 Mini Pro can be had on a ?20 per month contract. If you are already a Virgin customer then you can get it cheaper.

Sony Ericsson X10 Mini Pro Handset Contract Handset - Pay monthly contract phones - Virgin Mobile

The Wildfire can be had on a ?25 per month tariff... again cheaper if an existing customer.

HTC A3333 Wildfire Handset Contract Handset - Pay monthly contract phones - Virgin Mobile

Personally I would go for the x10 Mini Pro as the Wildfire is crap. I sent mine back as I wasnt happy with it in the slightest and went out and bought an iPhone 3GS, .

I may get the HTC Desire... although the HD version is supposed to be a great handset too.

A1818 Desire Handset Contract Handset - Pay monthly contract phones - Virgin Mobile

This is ?30 per month if not already a customer though.

Samsung Galaxy S. Great screen and processor. Lots of Android apps too. Not sure if it's free on a ?20 contract though.
