Google removing links and censoring the internet

Google have started removing results from their search pages, due to the US Digital Millennium Copyright Act,

Below is the link to the search term I put in which was looking for more information on Premier League HDTV Channel on 10e.

It will be all downhill from now on with the internet and this US Digital Millennium Copyright Act, what next torrent sites removed? DK removed? Wikileaks????

In a way it might be a good thing, threads on the forum will be for members only as non members can't find them via search engines.

this deffo isnt a good thing for the internet in general

They're just one search engine with a whole lot of fingers in a whole lot of pies. Just use another search engine, there are thousands of them, literally!

Google as the largest search engine in the world, will of course be the target for these sort of notices. There are always work arounds in these sort of situations, and as Devilfish says, there are always other ways of finding what you want.

Err you do get ~~~~ links in Google you just have to switch safe search off, lots of ~~~~ then............

Newspapers & media has been censored for a long time. Thanks to the wonderful global internet, you may be able to censor some parts, but the truth seekers will always find a way around censorship. Never give up searching for the real truth!

Met some guy once - he is dead now - but his job was a Patent reasercher

He worked for all the major companies

Sake of argument Vauxhall want to bring out a new model, but to save money they decide to hold the fuel-tank with a single strap that is made out of Meccarno - this guy had the job of reaserching to see it that had been patented - chances are already in use by Ford.
