what is the crack with these 'thankyou's'

if i made a post, and then replied to meself ending with 'thanks a million' would it come up that i have a million thankyou's

thanks is little button on bottom right

its simply saying thanks for a post you enjoyed/got something out of it

like your story about your ex/son and goth niece sitting on sofa when you got home bought a smile to all that read it

There is a 'Thanks' button on every post. If you think that post has been helpful you can click the thanks button and it adds to the persons 'thanks' total. It saves you posting 'thank you' which get's a bit monotonous in large threads, as you've probably seen.

nice post once again from you. you seem to have a habit of doing nice posts,

below each post to the right is a thanks button, and if you click on it the other person only adds 1 thanks to his/her total , it dont mean anything in reality but people like to see that they have been thanked.

Basically it is a nice gesture.

TBH i would rather see people use this more often than creating a new post saying " thank you "

I am enjoying being involved in the forums. Folk have been great. Although i still havent resolved my eurovox blue clone thang - but hey where else can a woman get away with asking such Q as "hey i need someone to look at my box" hehehe (defo need a tongue in cheek smiley mr smileymaker)
