look im 47 and i am trying to explain what we used to get from the school tuck shop to my grandaughter ie potatoe puffs 10p for a bag of broken potatoe crisps the best. can you buy from any shop or not. cheers <only salted ones>

remember them well m8,came across them a few years ago,bought a box of them,but havent seen them since,will have a look about for them, you never know,

i know you asked specifically for ready salted flavour but this was the best i could do. perhaps worth ordering yourself a few bags for your grandchild to sample to get an idea of what you're talking about.
they seem to still be quite popular in the north with more flavours available in shops. i would assume that is because being in the north is like being in a timewarp and 25 years behind the rest of the country.
