Ok, I'm not going to take sides here. But i think the argument goes along the lines of this....

Back in the day the use of steroids was not cheating, it was just another tool to reach your end result faster.

As time moved on, drug use came under more & more pressure until it was banned in competitive sports.

Arnie cannot be accused of cheating since there were no laws to say, you can't do this. Unless you're the government that passes laws in 2008 increasing road tax based on CO2 emissions...& then back dates it to 2001... coonts
