Good tips from everyone. Caveman, only one I disagree with on your tips is 'dont stay long' .
I would make it like any foreign beach hol, fair enough it's a long walk to the sea, but the pools in all the major hotels are fantastic.
The food and accommodation are second to none, both quality and price.
Hire a car and do days out to Death valley, Bryce valley, grand canyon,Hoover dam. Etc.
Buffets are brilliant. Cheapest we tried was about $6 , best was about 16 quid a head at the Bellagio. But they had kobe beef and biggest shrimp things I had ever seen.
Depends what you are going for. I did it as a stag weekend, and as a family hol. And both trips were different.

Biggest tip... at the south end of the strip is Fry's. A fkin dream shop. Every electrical thing in the universe. Make sure you have a credit card with a big credit limit.

beers and spirits jut, no probs if you order doubles your better off giving a $2 tip not bad though still only just over a ?1 can't be bad eh

Cheers Skywash great to know they don't frown on larger measures as i know quite a lot will be consumed on the stag .
