    TUNA

You know tuna, yeah? It's nice isn't it? I love it I do. I would eat it more often but the problem is that it makes me very very ill. I have to plan ahead for when I eat it so that I'm not ill at an inconvenient time.
I ate it without a problem as a kid but as an adult it hates me. Maybe its the distinct lack of dolphin meat in the tuna these days.
Anyone else have a similar situation either with tuna or other foodstuffs?

I haven't experienced this, my daughter has however, with eggs.. as a small child of 2/3, she would wolf down egg in any form. However, she would then become ill and vomit excessively.
Only food that makes me ill is Cadburys creme eggs, which give me a headache. i simply dont eat them

If it's been fished from the seas around Japan the tuna may have mercury in it and the sea around that area is contaminated with mercury. Or so our biology lecturer says.

Fresh chillies do it for me every time. I can eat anything spicy or dusted in dried chilli flakes, but I can't go near fresh chillies without suffering.

Evil nasty stomach cramps followed by a blind panic dash to the toilet. After about 5 minutes of screaming like a banshee it's the John Wayne walk with ring-sting soooo bad it feels like someone's got a blowtorch strapped to my ass.

But only when I eat them fresh.

Used to like corned beef when younger - so much younger than today - can't stand it now!

can't stand 'twiglets' - too real looking and chruncy

so if twiglets looked fake, you'ld find them more appetising?

just a thought, with your tuna, what about say 1/2 a can rather than a full can, then try mararine not butter or saladcream or fag ash instead.

Try looking at 'own brand' supermarket cans. - too much salt?

Try lowering the acidity level in the tuna bringing it nearer to neutral, sounds like you could be acid intollerant......Dr.Chucklor

MSG is tha main culprit for me and some additives, both are in nearly every thing. I swell up like the elephant ~~~~in man, so I always have to have my Antihistamine tabs handy.
