Simply Electronics....bunch of muppets

Was browsing around the forum doing this and that and had to buy a phone somewhere...then spotted the add for Simply Electronics flash up on the screen(advert)
Went to the site,saw my phone and bought it.
They said I'd have it in 5-7 working days,that was on the 10th of Jan.Waited until the 20th and nothing arived so I contacted them.
They were having probs with everything so it seems,I requested a refund to be told that that will take another 3-4 working days.
Its now the 24th and still havent closed this issue.
Payment from me to them is instant but I have to wait the best part of a week for a refund......how hard can it be to send it back to my paypal account!!!!
Dealt with 5 different reps from costumer service and each had a diffferent take on things.
Wouldnt buy there again......RANT over.

Totally changed my mind now and will go somewhere else.

Same old story mate, offer a good deal, let a few thousand customers deposit their money into an account which you get high intrest on, then refund their money after a month with some feeble excuse, and pocket the intrest.....

Go to resolution on your paypal account and get your money before it?s to let, because the seller is trying to buy time, you can still get your money back if you bought the item from your credit card company through paypal but hurry, I once bought a pc battery from china when UK airport flights were grounded and the seller thought he could get away because he was throwing every thing at me the snow, the holidays, etc, but I new when he did not contacted me when I asked him for the tracking number I immediately contacted paypal and got my money back.
Did the seller give you the tracking number mate?

I cancelled everything even before it had shipped,twas taking too long...waited 10 days and they still hadnt even got the phone in,eventho it was advertised on the site as "in stock".
I asked them where it was shipping from and they said Reading in the UK.
I'm in Ireland so expected a day or 2 extra for it to cross the water.
I'm now on day 15 and still nothing...muppetts the lot of em!!!!
Sent them an email last friday about the refund and they said it was in its final stage in the accounts dept.
Emailed again today and no response....seems to me that theres 5 guys in a shed with a laptop organising dropshippments from China to European countries hence the 5-7 working days(that includes UK addresses aswell)

Hi,
The help provided by the websites in the shopping is like a lure,to the people.They just want to make people fool by making very big offers only just for the attraction,and when you are trapped they take all your money with no such benefit to you.I also faved the problem with the shopping with a website and got nothing but a experience for a lifetime not to buy from any of these Muppets.

Got a refund today.....16 days of my time wasted on numerous emails and even worse responses filed with hundreds of apogies...still not good enough tho.
At the end of the day I'm still without a phone and they continue to do businness.
Another thing that struck me was that they advertise 7-9 days delivery time to the UK aswell and theyre based in Reading......must have a guy on a pedal bike delivering nationwide.
So that leaves 4 admin in the shed to answer phones and pretend to be a reputable company.
Oh well....lesson learned

Just got this email after writing the above
"With regards to your concern, we would like to inform you that your refund has been initiated today.

We would ask that you allow sometimes between 2 to 3 working days for the payment to reflect in your account, as this is the usual amount of time required by most banks and credit card companies to process the funds back into your account.

If you require further assistance, please feel free to contact us again. "

So I'll be another 3-4 days to access the funds...that will make it 3 weeks.
