OPTICAL INPUT/OUTPUT QUESTION??

Hi all,

At the minute ive got my surround sound player with 1 optical input connected to my tv via optical, then the ps3 and virgin box connected to the tv via hdmi, ideally would like the ps3 connected straight to surround sound with optical, is there any sort of adaptor or switcher that i can get to allow 2 optical inputs on the dvd, any help anyone?
