The government is planning to introduce this measure later this year, I believe it is the equivelent of a schooner. So you will be able to order your usual 1/2 or pint, and also 2/3rds of a pint (for pubs that decide to adopt the measure.

You will also be able to buy smaller measures of wine, to allow 'samples' to be tried.

Lol, you can still have your pint. The new legislation is actually a relaxation of existing laws which only allow draught beer to be sold in pint or half-pint measures.

It will now be legal for other measures to be sold.

Can i have a pint of guinness, a half of heineken, 2/3s of carlsberg, a pint of Harp, two thirds of Smithwicks, a half of guinness, a small white wine and a big red, 2/3s of Bud and an aspirin.
