    if i remember last time i looked at an iphone pic through this it narrowed it down to a street.

      This was first brought up when geo tagging was first released.

      The answer is easy... Turn off the GPS in the device.

      I only turn my GPS on when the pic I'm taking is destined for Google Earth.
