                  My wife and I use Frostwire. It works well. And totaly free.

                  Here is an older version of the sw, it works much better than the new one.

                      For light use try Super MP3 Download, it's free to use but puts daily limits on it until you pay.

                      But they do run special offers. I paid ?26 for 2 lifetime licences.

                                                          used to download loads years ago but had loads of virus's how do you get on downloading loads from the sites you have stated, is it virus free or do you have to check every thing you download first ? sorry to ask a dumb question but i miss downloading bur terrified of screwing mi pc.
