    Punted mine.

A batch of chips took ~~~~ing ages, like 45 mins a plateful then they wound up exactly like oven chips which woulda cooked way sooner, onion rings went badly wrong, my own fault for figuring that making my own batter and adding it unfrozen would have worked.

Essentialy it made me oven chips in a lot more time than oven chips would have taken, everything else that's made by hand like battered products don't work unless you go through the process of deep freezing them to allow them to crisp before defrosting fully..

roasters i do in the oven anyway when im cooking a roast so its essentially useless at this too, ive tried them in it and they came out nothing close to the real deal, wound up like those aunt bessies monstrosities.

The device would be great if i ever stooped to using frozen heavily processed junk, but then cooking that gear in deep fat is the least of your issues so "healthy" is moot at best.
Dont even get me started on the tempura disaster!

For fresh, from scratch, healthy material its absolutely counter productive, hence punting it to save myself the aggravation and temptation of trying again and again.

most useless invention ever! and this is coming from a man whos used his dishwasher to cook whole fish

They also had a slight problem of setting themselves on fire.

I'm taking it they have fix (or botched) the problem now
